Top tools for learning

Following on from our workshop at AMEE we said that we would share some information about the annual list of top tools for learning that is collated by Jane Hart.  Each year Jane puts out a call to those working in education and learning asking them to list the top 10 tools they use to support their own learning.  Jane then publishes a new list each year.  The call is currently out for 2017, closing on 22 September, and once the votes are in Jane will categorise and compile an overall list of top 200 tools and on 8 October.  She will also publish three sub-lists

  • top tools for personal and professional learning 2017
  • top tools for work-place learning 2017 and
  • top tools for education 2017.

In the meantime you can read about Jane’s own top 10 tools for 2017.

You can also take a look at the tools that made the best of breed list of tools for 2016 that be can be used to support both personal learning, work-place learning and education.  The slideshare below presents the information in another way that you can browse through and share with others. If you’ve used any of these in medical education and found them useful and would like to share how you’ve used them please do leave a comment.
